Bryan Bookhard is the owner, practicing in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and family law. Bryan also represents several small start-up companies and organizations.

Prior to establishing the Law Office of Bryan T. Bookhard, LLC, Bryan was a Partner at Bookhard & Thomas, LLC. At Bookhard & Thomas, LLC, Bryan practiced in the family law, personal injury and criminal law sections of the firm. Prior to becoming a Partner, at Bookhard & Thomas, LLC, Bryan was an associate at the Washington office of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, PC. At Mintz Levin, Bryan represented several large telecommunications companies before the Federal Communications Commission. While at Mintz Levin, Bryan also counseled individuals on family law issues on a pro bono basis.

Bryan is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Howard University (1990), and was awarded his J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law (1998), where he was a member of the Howard Law Journal and the Problems and Briefs Chair of the Charles Hamilton Houston Moot Court Team. Bryan received the Earl H. Davis Memorial Prize for Outstanding Advocacy from the Olender Foundation. Bryan was a Finalist at the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition where he received the Best Oralist Award. Bryan is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, D.C. Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association, Family Division Trial Lawyers Association of D.C., Maryland State Bar Association, and the D.C. Bar.
